Music Is Inspiring

Music is inspiring for most and a way of life for many. Music has been around it seems forever, used for rituals, ceremonies in all different walks of life, played for general pleasure, creating a lifestyle or an income.

Music is used as a means of expression, lyrics are specially written to make a statement, often for support or opposition for the environment, political stances, things they feel very strongly about. Musicians often write from personal experiences often as a way of healing.

Have your ever remembered a piece of music that you may not have heard for quite some time and it will generate a feeling of that time? I have. Look around and watch people in public places you will often find a ipod attached to the young ones in the park or just walking the street. Exercise enthusiasts at the gym pounding out the treadmill with the ipod strapped on their arm for their own type of music. My daughter often has hers on while driving, (not something I endorse).

We all have favourite pieces we hum or sing to, for most it is part of our daily lives and some cannot live with music (or noise as I refer to with my sons music) he plays the drums and is always talking to me about a favorite piece music he has just learned and is always strumming a beat with imaginary sticks as he walks around the house.

It can be very influential on our lives through the melody and lyrics.

It's a great way to channel energy!

Put your brain on the train to success, happy feelings and positive thinking everyday. Music is inspiring to everyone, you can switch on the radio on the car and one of your favorite tunes you haven’t heard for sometime comes on and the next thing you know you’re humming along to it...it has cause a reaction!

How Music Affects You

Musical vibrations and frequencies, thoughts, enhances your brain function by exciting the peptides in your brain which stimulates a production of endorphins from the hypothalamus which affects your mood and how you feel (your emotion).

You may or may not realize that that your brain has billions of cells and is constantly being stimulated everyday and that stimulation creates new connections and new neuron patterns all the time, so that means that you are changing all time.

So if we are changing all the time we can create that change into something we want.Yep! Much like our body we are constantly creating new cells and what we feed our bodies with determines your health, (yes big Macs are out!!)

So with music you can create how your feel

Here's an example: this extremely talented little girl in the very well known TV talent show Britain has Talent, (getting past Simon's feeling's) Connie performs for the panel and her performance is outstanding.

See if you get a feeling when you listen to her.

What you feed your mind determines the health of your mind. If you put on some light hearted melody you put your self in a state that is happy and lifting, that affects your mood for the day.

If you want to chill out for an hour or so with some meditation music by yourself (actually very important) this will create an inner peace within yourself that is vital to your own spiritual growth.

Here is a very beautiful romantic piece from an upcoming band in New Zealand - "Opshop", it is very mellow and gives a 'feeling"

The neuron patterns that are being created by the vibrational sounds you are listening to also re arranges your thoughts, affects your motor skills, your memory, etc much like the hard drive of the computer.(Even as I write this for you I have on some inspiring back round music, it REALLY does set my mood!)

Let the Infection Begin!

Neuroscience is becoming very exciting now with discoveries of how the brain will give you what you want out of life. Challenge your brain with new forms of information, read something you enjoy, get out the photo album and think on days on by, get those earphones on and put on a positive thinking CD or musical tune you like or haven’t listened for a while.

Every thing you throw at it affects you! so make it count, it’s those little changes determine how you live your life and your successes in every aspect of your life will change. That’s growth.

What do you need to start the day out? Spread those songs out on the table and choose what you want today, Choose your vibration! Excitement! A little romance maybe? Need an extra boost for some motivation for that exam you maybe sitting? Get those earphones on and put on a positive thinking CD or musical tune you like or haven’t listened for a while.

I now rummage through my old records and see what I can put on for a couple of songs to set my mood. Actually I didn’t realize what I had and how powerful they can be now that I listen to the lyrics and what it really does for my own personal growth.
