Soar to your height of a true consciousness

I have so much Gratitude, it was sheer gratefulness, I gratefully accepted, these words change you life.

Over the last few years I have been accumulating books of success, prosperity, how to stay fit and healthy all of which I treasure very much, I often refer to them to remember something they have said or to get back on track a little (something that is an ongoing process) but as usual I get drawn into reading them again because of the positive and affirming attraction they put out and you know gratitude is a subject that always pops it head up. Part of the belief / action process we must all take to be truly happy to have prosperity and success is to have gratitude in our lives because when you think, feel and speak gratitude you are focusing on what you want, you are putting out a positive energy for our goals and our dreams.

The law of attraction feeds the universe with your feelings and thoughts. The universe can’t distinguish between gratitude and sadness or resentment so what you feed the universe with your feelings and thoughts is what will come back to you.

A brilliant book I was introduced to and I really encourage you to read is "The Science of Getting Rich" by Wallace D. Wattles, in it he writes…

“The law of gratitude is the natural principle that action and reaction are always equal and in the opposite directions.”

The law of gratitude works like this, (remember the universe doesn’t recognize between a good or bad energy it just processes it for you) when you put out a positive energy of grateful thoughts and acts, those thoughts and actions are processed and create a positive vibration of energy.

This powerful energy of gratitude will attract back to you in a positive vibration and show up in your life in ways of respect, success, opportunities and happiness because you have focused on gratefulness into your life.That’s cause and effect.

So…You must remember these things

Lack! There isn’t any! There is always has and always will be an abundance of everything, food, water, money, clothes and opportunities, etc, don’t ever believe that there is lack because there isn’t.

If you believe there is a shortage of what you desire you will find it hard to be grateful for what you have, know that the universe provides more than enough, then you can create and not compete. Competing for someone or something is an act of ungratefulness, there is no need to take away from anyone, if someone has what you want, that’s great! You can create it too!

There is always more of what you want, maybe not today and maybe not where you are right now but it is there if you look for it. Know you will get what you desire for your goals and dreams and when you do, know that other people around you will also get what they want, by your creativeness not your competitiveness. That’s a law of gratitude and also cause and effect.

The universe is a big place right? It is has something that will give you whatever you want, as Wallace D. Wattles quite rightly puts it…

There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which in its original state, permeates, penetrates and fills the interspaces of the universe.

A thought in this substance produces the thing that is imaged by the thought.

A person can form things in his thought and by impressing his thought upon this formless substance can cause this thing he thinks about to be created.



It’s energy! It’s everywhere and everything, it’s even you and me. You have an unlimited supply of this formless substance and you can mold it, create it into anything you desire. Science has proven that we use up just a fraction of what we need. So never be ungrateful for lack.

Value! Adding value to your own or someone else’s life is something you can indeed be grateful for. One of life’s games is we can play by ourselves and not give anything (or receive anything back) or we can play with others if we choose and give them our gift.

We all have our own natural gifts and talents and in the sense of the word gift, doesn’t that also mean ‘give’. It is well known that people are their happiest when they can add value to other peoples lives because it makes them happy which in turn makes you happy and happiness matters!

Something a work collegue said to me…

In a relationship you come together as a couple and you help each other out in various ways because, well... because you should and because you care for them right? You may help each other around the house to halve the work load and take turns in reading the bedtime stories to the children, take turns walking the dog, etc. Soon enough one may start to drag the chain a little and he/she isn't keeping up their end of the deal! so the relationship could get a little strained to say the least. you have given your half and you have your hand out wanting half back!

Answer? Give! 80-100% of love, caring, thoughtfullness and your relationship will never be better.

I know! I have a partner who does just that and it's just great! It makes me want to give just as much back and I am so grateful for such a wonderful person in my life!

Cause and effect is part of your relationship, what you put out you get back and when you add value to someone's life they will forever be grateful.

Do something nice for someone today and see gratitude at work!

so, anyway...

This next one is a biggie!

Forgiveness! Yes, you must forgive, No matter how huge that resentment, no matter what they did! You must forgive her, him or them. For you to carry around short or long term anger or resentment is the detriment to yourself. if you do not you hold it close to you.

When we harbor these feelings they eventually deal to us in sickness, stress, headaches, insomnia, weight loss, heart problems. Combine these added health problems on top of your anger and resentment and you have a nasty result Here’s that cause and effect thing again.

You must genuinely forgive, this is about you letting go and cutting the noose free! Your health depends on it.

You must genuinely wish them no harm. You must be grateful for them, for what they have taught you. Remember what I said about the law of gratitude? That action and reaction is always equal and in the opposite direction and what you get back what you put out.

If you can do that you are bigger than most. It is a crucial step in your own personal growth, a healing step if you will. Be grateful for everything that surrounds you, your family, friends, your not so friends, your environment and you will reap the rewards.
