The Happy Page

Your mission if you choose to accept it….

And accept it you must!

If you sit back and said to yourself “what would make me happy right now” and you said “oh heaps of money!” to pay off that loan that’s being hanging over my head or get those new shoes I’ve been admiring or get that latest computer.

And after you have materialized those things, would you still be happy? Maybe for the short term. Even though we want to believe that having those things will make us satisfied, it is only external happiness.

You can wait for that loan to be paid off or the kids to stop arguing or for the new Ipod to arrive from your online order, but there will rarely be a perfect time for you to be completely happy with all things in your life… because they are on the outside.

So many of us see ourselves as victims, poor me! I can’t do this! Or this isn’t happening right! Well they are asleep at the wheel! Lights are out!

Jump off that raft of negative beliefs, (which is creating your unhappiness) watch it drift down the river and wave them goodbye!! Bon Voyage! Push the delete button!

Who turned out the lights!

Asking yourself is your first really conscious step to resolving unhappy thoughts and feelings. You are now telling your mind that you no longer accept unhappiness as an option and you are going to start to change that.

For so many of us our thoughts and feeling are on autopilot, those lights are out! we have been pre-programmed & pre-set at an early age of what we can achieve in life and what we can’t, how to behave, what is white, what is black and so on, you get the picture.

Your parents/grandparent/teachers are your most influential mentors at an early age, we always look to them for guidance and in the early years of life we believe what we are told. They are there to support you, love you, feed and clothe you and guide you, so if they constantly tell you over a period of time that you can’t have or do something you believe them, right?

You believe them, it becomes real to you and that becomes your reality! It is now a belief! Your belief!

If they tell you that wanting to become a millionaire is way over your head or to study the Milky Way is a waste of time or you’re no good at swimming or running, then you believe that you’re no good it and it’s a waste of time. Constant negative comments, pictures, sounds, go into your conscious mind by way of what it sees, hears, tastes, touches, etc, it lets you believe that it is true and what isn’t, it then becomes your pre-programming, your beliefs then go into your deep subconscious mind which can set like concrete.

I am not suggesting at all that your parents/grandparents/teachers are/were not good at what they do/or did, they were passing on to you what they were told, how they were pre-programmed. It is what they believe, you could not expect them to be any different.

Self belief is what it is all about, because once you believe that you can, you will, because you believe it, right?

Play Station anyone?

Have you every played on a play station or used an X Box? Well a lot of games require you to get to different levels of that game right? You get used to using the action buttons on the console like run, jump, defend and so on, these buttons give you the skills to get past the first level, which you do and you think….. Yes! Then proceed to level two where you may get more tools, a better power level, and then you get to other various levels with more difficult challenges and more tools and wow! I can do this! This is fun!

Like the hard drive of that game it stores the tools, it has a memory card, it knows what it can do, it takes commands from the console you control. The subconscious mind is your hard drive, it stores everything you have pre-programmed in it, it takes commands from your console, your conscious mind! Like yes, no, run jump, can’t do that, not good enough! It knows what your limitations are because it has been told so, pre-programmed just like the play station. It would be interesting wouldn’t it if you could retrieve that pre-programming and unravel it like a film and see what was on it and maybe re-programme it so you could achieve what you desire, what you could be good at, I mean the list would be endless right? Successful in all areas of your life, making money, helping other people, being good at sport, having passion! always entertain empowering thoughts.

So then, everything that you say, think, feel, see, touch, taste, hear, they all…. Matter!

It all Matters!

Because everything that goes into your subconscious molds who you are!

Happiness gets something going

When we feel happy things start to change for us, our awareness has a dramatic shift, we become aware of things around us that we may not have normally noticed before (something about the lights are out) anyway, our body’s senses become more acute and biochemical changes happen in the brain and body reacts and prepares our selves for that change of feeling, much like fear or anger does, the body releases adrenaline to cope.

So, with happy feelings your vision, touch, smell, taste now have become alive and well again (lights are now on). This awareness creates beneficial thoughts, gratitude, a state of inner peace, contentment, a want to help others, you become more motivated to remain happy. True happiness is a motivation in itself to want to remain in this extremely pleasant state and you do deserve it, everyone does but unfortunately some don’t think they can.

Some familiar examples of happiness

“I was so happy I could have just shouted the house down”

“I just sat and totally enjoyed the moment”

“I’ve wondered through my garden many times but never really noticed the true natural beauty of nature”

“I am so grateful of what I have right now”

“I’ve had such an awesome day today that nothing could change that”

“I totally jumped for joy”

“I could conquer the world"

Do any of those sound like where you want to be? These quotes of happiness that have an effect our mental, emotional and physical happiness. It creates inner peace, sheer excitement, joy, total gratefulness, empowerment, self-confidence, self esteem and so on.

These feelings also allow us to tackle life challenges that are put before us in ways that otherwise without these feelings may not have resulted in a positive outcome. As I said before it lets you decide how you can create to change a negative environment or position into a positive outcome which empowers you to want to remain in that happy state.

Happy feelings give you tools to let you see things in a different view, we now no longer feel the need to compete but create, we now longer act as a victim, but act victorious.

The circumstances in where you are at this moment is a result of your thoughts!
