How To go Raw
One Step at a Time
How to go raw on a raw food diet should be a gradual thing, you probably already are on a partial raw food diet, as most people do eat salads, fruit and nuts (but only a fraction of what they should and it may not be organic).
A step further is slowly implementing foods that do not need to be cooked are organic foods (wild if you can get it!).
Going cold turkey may not be so wise as the body has to make changes/adjustments from the cooked toxic food it was used to and changing so quickly might make you over-spiral a little.
While I am about 80% raw and my goal is to be eventually 100%, for some being of 80% raw and 20% cooked food is adequate and that balance is fine remembering that the cooked food would preferably be organic. But eat the raw food first as
this gives the digestive system time to start working the digestive process first.
Remember the body is very adaptable….
Making these changes will be very significant to body, so you may notice some fluctuations in your body, for instance; you may experience headaches, increase of bowel movements, even some mood changes.
Just a sign that the toxic waste in your body is shifting around
& getting ready to leave the building!
This is where a good
herbal cleansing
program would be in order!
How to go raw is one of the most important things you need to realise that the change you are make to raw living foods will not harm your inner self in any way.
Your system will no longer be drained of valuable energy trying to digest that dead toxic gunk which builds up in your colon.
That's very re-assuring
Another is a big change in the form of overeating so many of us subject ourselves to.
A raw organic diet will never threaten you with obesity, you body will re-adjust like mine did, to your natural weight. There is never a time when you can’t eat raw!
With raw living foods your body will function the way it should, effortlessly
So…
Take a little to time to look at what you eat right now, what can you replace that was cooked to what can now be raw? After some research I realised just how much you can actually eat on a raw food diet.
Flavour! Color! Taste! Nutrition!
Explore your community for organic shops for produce, health food shops, local organic farmers sometimes have stands outside their property, if you can grow your own garden even better, I have small place and it’s quite amazing how much I grow.
Joining co-ops are another great avenue.
Read to Learn! Read to Experiment! Read to Create!
I have done quite a bit of reading of all aspects of raw organic recipes, ideas on wellness, survival, healing ailments. The books out there are huge. It really is the way to get started, read and experiment, here are some you could start with…
Raw Juicing
is extremely beneficial for our bodies, vegetable juicing gives the body a full dose of live enzymes, it heals, detoxifies and rests our body.
Sprouting
increases nutrient levels, digestion is improved by changing the molecules of our essential protein into amino acids, carbohydrates into simpler forms of carbohydrates, and fats. You might be surprised what you can sprout!
If nuts or seeds won’t sprout then that is a sign that it has been radiated and basically killed as far as nutritional content.
Recipes on raw living food will more than satisfy your taste, nutrition requirements. Get your creative juices flowing on some of these books!
Equipment! There is some kitchen equipment you might want to purchase, although you may already have some. If you are going to juice, whip up smoothies, dehydrate or sprout you may want to get a few things to keep it interesting and varied.
Self survival
is very important and necessary...
Do you live by the sea? in the city? maybe in the country?
Could you survive a natural disaster or a man made one?
How long do you think you would survive without any help?
Would you know what was safe to eat if you had to forage in the forest or along a beach?
Is the water you're drinking clean?
Dont think it won't happen to you! be prepared it could be difference between survival or not.
Raw, Organic & Wild foods are the BMW of food
Enjoy!
